Second gig of the year. It was a good gathering at the Unicorn, ran into many familiar faces, good night out for socializing and listening to good music.
Got there just when they guys from Ancient Ascendant started. A promising death metal band, on their third album, with a lot to offer.
As I told you in a previous post, Saturday's night gig was all about seeing the guys from Abgott again. But to be fair I think I've enjoyed the first gig more. Something was just off Saturday night. I can't tell if it was something related to the drums or the sound system, or all the testosterone mosh pitting around - which is a good sign at a metal gig, but not so good when you are a photographer, and people start bumping into you- but for sure this gig wasn't as good as the one in November.
